You should be ready for an Electrified Jaguar F-Type.

With its unpleasantly loud exhaust note, elegant looks, and a powerful engine options, Jaguar F-Type is an fervently driven grand tourer that is done a lot for the British automaker’s brand icon. And while sales still lag drastically behind the Porsche 911, it has been sold well to get a second generation. But when the reformed F-Type is released, it will probably at least be offered with a hybrid choice, if not full-electric.
While speaking to the Automotive News, Jaguar’s head of design (Ian Callum), said his company does not have plans to let the F-Type perish “He also said we are going to  eventually going  to do another varieties of sports cars. “[Sports cars] are never going to go away.”

He also(Ian callum) added that he does not see the performance of SUVs ever substituting low-slung coupes. “There are a number of people in the world who are having the thought that sports cars are finished because SUVs can get around an angle as fast as a sports car can, technology being what it is,” he said. “But there is something very moving about a sports car that bears the crucial in the sense of the performance and design.”
There’s still no official timeline for when the reformed F-Type will be out here, but when it does, it will not be freed from Jaguar’s plans to electrify its entire range. “Every new car released after 2020 will definitely have some form of electrification,” said Joe Eberhardt, Jaguar Land Rover’s North American CEO. “That's full electric, mild hybrids or plug-in hybrid,''
Joe Eberhardt did not say which kind of electrification will be offered on the next-generation of F-Type, but Jaguar recently show off a fully electric E-Type. It might be a true one-off, but it  might also be a clue at the direction Jaguar aim to take  F-Type. Either way, it also sounds like we should expect Jaguar’s next sports car to be a hybrid.
