Nissan Plans to Make a Leaf Nismo Concept.

Nissan will make a show of a Nismo version of its all-electric Leaf at the Tokyo Motor Show next month, Auto Express reports.
The manufacturer teased the new Nismo plan at the European unveiling of the next-generation Leaf. Well, this isn't the first athletic amends made and the model shows that Nissan seem to want a continuous increase in the EV’s performance and athletic appearance. Nissan is not divulging the specs right now, but we will be able to learn more at the Tokyo show.

From the teaser's point of view, the Nissan Leaf Nismo poses a much more aggressive look than the standard model. Not only does it feature red accents and a black-and-white paint job, but it also appears to have a lower ride height and special side skirts.
Earlier this year, Nissan made it plans to expand its Nismo division known. With the launching of new Nismos, Nissan wants to increase sales of athletic-oriented vehicles from the current output of 15,000 units a year.
Just last month, Nissan unveiled the 2018 Leaf for the U.S. There has been an increase in horsepower from 107 to 147, while torque has jumped from 187 to 236 lb-ft in the new generation. The Leaf can make a 150 miles journey on a single charge in S and SV trims, but an upgraded battery pack for the SL trim seems to likely extend that to about 225 miles.
