A Peek at the Gionee S11.

A few days ago, Gionee revealed the M7 and M7 Power and a very recent TENAA filing propose a third budget-oriented  and 18:9 device is also on the way.

Now, let  bump the count with at least one more handset - the Gionee S11, which recently showed up on the Chinese certification authority's website as well. It seems Gionee has really taken the ultra-wide aspect ration trend to heart, since the S11 is listed as using a 6.01-inch, 1080 x 2160 pixel AMOLED panel. Likely the similar Full Vision one of the M7. You definitely won't hear us complain, since it has all the right signs to impress. Well, at least on paper.
TENAA also stated that the unit they received runs on a platform of 2.5GHz octa-core chipset, which features 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Just like it S10 predecessor, the S11 will feature a total of four cameras - two at the rear and two at the front. It also seems to appear that the setup system would remain the same and will consist of 16 MP + 8 MP on one side and 20MP + 8MP on the other, respectively.
According to TENAA, all this is all built into a body, measuring 155.8 x 72.6 x 6.95mm and weighing about 178 grams. This includes a non-removable 3,600 mAh battery. Other mentioned features are a fingerprint reader on the back and an OS of Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Interestingly enough, a device with the Gionee S11 moniker popped-up on GFXBench recently as well. So far, the benchmark as reported a 6-inch, 1080 x 2160 pixel display and a 16MP main camera. Though, other specs are not similar, like the quad-core MediaTek MT6763 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 4MP selfie cam. However, since the S10 has two different variants, we can also expect the same for the S11, which could be an explanation for the specs difference.
Hopefully, Gionee might make an official statement soon.
