Capcom is at last going conscientiously for a Mega Man anniversary. The 30th anniversary stream is now live, and so far there as been confirmation of a Mega Man X Collection and Mega Man 11. They are not finished yet, and with Mega Man 11 coming to the Nintendo Switch, the developer requires everybody to engage. While the Switch came out between the first and second Mega Man Legacy Collection games, the Switch was excluded of both releases. That is, until now.
Legacy Collections will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch in the summer of 2018, according to the anniversary stream's third major announcement of the day. First ten Mega Man games will all be be accessible, together with amiibo support, giving players around half a year to play through all ten of the original series games before Mega and Rush make the jump from 8-bit to 2.5D at the end of the year.
Which amiibo will be supported has not been disclosed yet, but if you own a Switch you should be anticipating plenty of Mega Man in the coming year. The three publication so far merged for a grand total of 19 Mega Man games heading to the Nintendo Switch by the end of 2018. Be prepared for some jump and shoot action, because Switch owners will get so plenty of new juices.
